Jodie Loubser graduated in 1998 with a Graphic Design Diploma at TUT. She mostly draws inspiration from Victorian Interiors and the old masters like Monet, Adolph Menzel, Gustave Caillebotte and Degas.
Loubser has been a full time artist since 2012 who enjoys the freedom to challenge new methods of applying paint. With her realism she prefers a natural soft pallet and with her admiration for the impressionists she draws the viewer into a contrasting more colourful and textured interpretation. You cannot fail to realize that each painting has its own story and there is a challenge in trying to unravel your memory experienced by each portrayal.
